Are You Standing in the Way of Grace?

“At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She asked him (Boaz), ‘Why have I found favor [grace] in your eyes that you notice me—a foreigner?’”
—Ruth 2:10

God was ready to play big with Ruth—but she was still seeing herself through a small lens. Despite her background, her losses, and her outsider status, grace stepped in.

Grace is the game changer. God meets us at our lowest—in our brokenness, messiness, and imperfection. He sees the opportunity when all we can see is inadequacy.

But like Ruth, are we standing in the way of grace?

Maybe it’s your past hurt, religious wounds, spiritual confusion, addictions, doubts, or deep-rooted shame. Maybe it’s the weight of being told you’re too flawed, too sinful, too far gone.

But grace says otherwise.

God doesn’t avoid your mess—He meets you in it. As Michael Yaconelli put it, “Our messes are God’s opportunities.” That’s where grace opens our eyes and transforms our lives.

So here’s the question:
Will you let grace have the final word?

Strong blessings,
Cedric
