Get It Done
The End Still Matters
Make it count — even if it were the last day of your life.
Some have sung their last hymn and prayed their last prayer, yet it isn’t over until God says it’s over.
Locked in prison, eyes gouged out, strength squandered, Samson prayed one final prayer:
“Let me die with the Philistines.”
Then he pushed with all his might. The temple fell. In his death, he defeated more of Israel’s enemies than he had in his life.
It was the last day of his life.
And he got it done.
Yes, Samson made foolish choices.
Yes, he wasted strength.
Yes, his story was messy.
But when the story is told fully, he stands in the hall of faith (Hebrews 11). Not because he was perfect — but because he finished in faith.
Prison.
Blindness.
Consequences.
Still — purpose.
Shakespeare wrote, “I long to hear the story of your life.”
When your story is told, will it be said you finished? That you pushed? That you crossed the line?
It’s not about how you started.
It’s not even about where you stumbled.
It’s about whether you get it done.
Finish strong.
Life is short. Live.
The rest of your life can still be the best of your life.
Grace,
Cedric
