How Much Longer?
The Clock Is Ticking.
How much longer will you sit around and talk about it —
let that negative inner conversation win,
let fear sabotage another great idea, passionate dream, or excellent opportunity?
It’s obvious to everyone: you’re gifted.
You’ve been picked to play in this season.
But the more you start and stop,
the more you delay with the wouldas, couldas, shouldas, and one-days,
the harder it becomes to know what you’ll actually do.
Are you spending too much time at the starting line?
I’ve been living for six decades, and I can tell you this: the longer you stall, the harder it is to move. Attention drifts. Momentum fades. The delayed dream makes the heart sick.
You’re carrying something that needs to be delivered.
Don’t let it be said you came this far and never gave us what we needed.
Today is all you have. Tomorrow is not promised.
If you don’t plant in the spring, you risk begging in the fall. The light is sweet. The race isn’t always to the swift or the battle to the strong — but time and chance happen to us all.
Opportunity doesn’t wait forever. The sun will not always light your side of the street.
So how much longer?
Life is short. Live.
The rest of your life can still be the best of your life.
Grace to you,
Cedric
