I’ve Seen Too Many Victories to Let Defeat Have the Last Word

“And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell…” – Hebrews 11:32

I’ve seen men walk out of prison after decades, get corporate jobs, start businesses, finish college, and reunite with their families. I’ve seen “black sheep” who once terrorized their neighborhoods come back as crusaders for Christ—serving in schools, churches, and non-profits. Their mess became their message.

I’ve seen a man who nobody wanted—too risky, too broken—completely rebuild his life and trust God with his future. I’ve stood in a hayfield with four hundred people, listening to a man confess his crimes, ask for forgiveness, and proclaim Jesus as Lord. That day, grace stole the show.

I’ve seen addicts walk free, enemies reconcile, and hopeless hearts start over. Not every story ends the way I wish, but every changed life is proof that God is still in the business of transformation.

So when people tell me they can’t change, that it’s too late, that they’re too far gone… I just smile.

I’ve seen too many victories to let defeat have the last word.

Make a short list of victories you've seen.

Strong Blessings,
Cedric
