God’s Dream

The primary goal of Christianity is reconciliation, union, and oneness. Jesus’ final and deepest prayer before leaving this earth was anchored in that very desire: “My prayer is not for them alone. I also pray for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You.” (John 17:20–21)

Unity is not a side project of the gospel—it is the gospel’s endgame. God is forming one loving family, a community where we share in His life, His love, and His purpose. This oneness is meant to make us feel deeply connected, spiritually grounded, and relationally strengthened. We are not spiritual only-children; we are part of a vast household of faith stretching across generations, nations, and cultures.

Though paradise was lost in Genesis, God has never been content with that ending. He has been rewriting the story from the beginning—patiently, powerfully, and lovingly. In Christ, the great reversal has already begun: walls fall, divisions heal, and estranged brothers and sisters are brought back into harmony with God and with each other.

God’s dream is simple and stunning:
That we may be one.
And every step toward love, forgiveness, and community is a step toward fulfilling that dream.
